Dinner With The Parents

We have just completed the VFX for the American remake of Friday Night Dinner. Called Dinner With The Parents. Two brothers in their 20s go to their parents' house for dinner every week and somehow get over it without physically dying of embarrassment.

A romantic drama written by Victor Levin, it stars Andrea Riseborough and Domhnall Gleeson. All VFX by Raised by Wolves. Grade by Molinare.

Pistol

Jon Hollis, Dylan Kendle and Jason Kedgley have completed all the titles for Danny Boyles mini series about the Sex Pistols. Working with an original set of artwork from Jamie Reid the task was to animate it and bring it to life. The make each of the six episodes to feel slightly different. The end titles were set against a mural that Jamie has of all of his original artwork from the time.

Million Dollar Pigeon.

Dylan Kendle designed an excellent opening title and end title sequence for this dock about the Million Dollar auction of a racing pigeon!. Jon Hollis animated and gave the pigeon some funky moves….

Jon Hollis’ latest film, for Network Rail working with Leith, highlights the devastating effect that trespassing on rail tracks – a problem that is on the increase and incredibly dangerous - can have on the families of the trespasser.
Hopefully Jon’s darkly brooding film will make anyone thinking of saving ten minutes by taking a short cut across the tracks think again.

Slow Jane - River Man

The lock down is as much about keeping busy and creative as well as keeping healthy. Here is a music video we just put together for a friend’s band called Slow Jane. This is their cover of Nick Drake’s “River Man”, a beautifully haunting piece of music. The visuals might appear quite abstract but the idea was a train passing slowly alongside a river, we see trees in the foreground and birds flying by. There are highlights that glisten in time with the vocals that dance above the surface of the water. Occasionally you see boats and other water activity. Hope you like it.
